Dear Timberwolf family,
I am excited to serve in my new role as your Assistant Principal, having proudly served as the Head Counselor for Stockton Early College Academy since 2012. Over the years, SECA has become more than just a workplace to me; it is a community I deeply value and care about. I am honored to continue supporting our students, staff, and families in this new capacity.
During my time as Head Counselor, I have worn many hats for SECA, including serving as Dual Enrollment Coordinator, AP Coordinator, Pre-AP Coordinator, and PSAT and SAT Coordinator. These roles have allowed me to work closely with students to maximize their opportunities and help them navigate their academic journeys. Each experience has strengthened my commitment to ensuring that every student has access to the resources and support they need to thrive.
Beyond SECA, I have coached high school wrestling since 1993 and currently serve as the Assistant Wrestling Coach at Delta College, where I also serve as an Adjunct Counselor and Professor. Coaching and teaching have always been central to who I am, reinforcing my belief in discipline, resilience, and the power of mentorship. Whether in the classroom, on the mat, or in the counseling office, my focus has always been on helping students grow and reach their full potential.
I have been fortunate to be part of many incredible milestones at SECA, including achieving the highest API score in San Joaquin County at 923, earning national recognition from U.S. News & World Report as one of the top high schools in the country, being named among the Washington Post’s Most Challenging High Schools, and receiving the distinction of a three-time California Distinguished School. Most recently, the Class of 2025 reached extraordinary success, with 99% accepted to four-year universities and 95% earning associate degrees. It was truly an honor to serve as Head Counselor for these students, and I now look forward to supporting our school in even greater ways while advancing Mr. Dei Rossi’s vision of continued excellence and record-breaking achievement.
